Dave is a senior member and group lead of the mechanical team at Engenious Design. His work in mechanical and electro-mechanical product development spans more than two decades, with a primary focus on medical devices and regulated products. Dave has led and supported the development of complex systems from early concept through verification, regulatory approval, and commercialization. Dave is driven by solving technically challenging problems and turning customer and clinical needs into robust, manufacturable designs. His experience includes patient positioning and surgical systems, cost-reduction and product refresh initiatives, and close collaboration with clinicians, manufacturers, and cross-functional teams. He brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to design, with deep knowledge of design controls, risk management, and quality systems.
