Stewart Hammond is on the test team at Engenious; a group on the front lines of answering questions like “is this possible?”, “why did this fail?”, and “is this device safe and effective?”. A Duke University graduate with dual degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical & Computer Engineering, Stewart has hands-on experience spanning electronics design, biomedical research, and computational systems, giving him a versatile foundation for tackling complex testing challenges. Beyond the classroom, Stewart has contributed to published research in tissue engineering and has worked on projects ranging from brain-computer interface devices to global health innovation. His ability to move fluidly between lab environments, electronics, and software makes him a natural fit for the cross-disciplinary nature of work at Engenious. Stewart is also a creative thinker with a passion for visual art, music, and building inclusive communities, bringing a well-rounded perspective to everything he does.
